A Bit About Me
I discovered my passion for absorbing information at about 7 years of age, when my parents would often find me sitting on the floor in their office, head buried in their hardbound Collier's Encyclopedia. I would then spend hours recounting all the fascinating facts I had learned to my poor mother as she tried to go about her daily tasks.
Language learning became an addiction in my early teenage years. I dabbled in French, Latin, and Mandarin Chinese before diving headlong into a study of German. Combined with this love of languages, my penchant for retelling stories and restating facts has finally found its expression in translation.
I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and getting out in nature. I live with my wife and two kids in Edmonton, Canada . . . until the wind changes again and wanderlust drives us onward.
